Ingredients
- 2 Hansen’s Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Spice Girl Kitchen Italian Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons chopped Scissortail Farms Basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- The Sauce
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup Roark Acres Honey
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup Hochatown Distilling Co. Bourbon
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- To make the meatballs – Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix eggs, Italian seasoning, basil,
salt, pepper and garlic powder together in a large bowl. Add beef and panko, mixing thoroughly. - Shape mixture into about 40 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place on ungreased, rimmed baking sheets.
- Bake about 15 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time.
- To make sauce – In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, bourbon, red pepper flakes and garlic.
- Place meatballs in the slow cooker. Pour sauce over and stir to coat the meatballs. Place lid
on and set the timer to 4-5 hours on low. - Stir meatballs, and serve hot.
