Cornmeal Pancakes

Thsee unique pancakes have a savory flavor but are sweetened with Andrews Honey and Griffins syrup.

  1. 2/3 cup Shawnee Mills Yellow Cornmeal
  2. 1/3 cup Shawnee Mills Best All-Purpose Flour
  3. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  4. 1 tablespoon sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 cup Hiland Milk
  7. 1 large Hansens egg, slightly beaten
  8. 2 tablespoons Roark Acres Honey
  9. 3 tablespoons Hiland Unsalted Butter, melted
  10. 1 cup Griffins Original Syrup
  1. Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add milk, egg, honey, and butter, stirring until just combined.
  2. Pour by cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes.
  3. Cook until the other side is golden brown.
  4. Serve pancakes with additional Hiland Butter and Griffins Syrup.
