Bacon Cheese and Chive Muffins
2 cups Shawnee Mills Self-Rising Flour
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese , grated
1 cup Bar-S Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 T fresh chives, chopped
2 T granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup Hiland Butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Step 1Preheat oven to 375°F
Step 2Place muffin liners in each muffin cup. To make your own, cut 6×6 squares of parchment paper.
Step 3Mix all ingredients gently in a large bowl until just blended together, be careful to not over mix the muffins or they will become chewy.
Step 4Spoon into prepared muffin tray.
Step 5Bake for about 15 mins or golden brown.
