Biscuit Bites
This easy little appetizer is a great one to have when you’re in a hurry.

- 1(6 oz) package Shawnee Mills Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
- 1 cup Hiland Milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons melted Hiland Butter for tops
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients well. Drop a teaspoon-sized amount of dough into greased mini muffin pan.
- Bake 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush tops of each biscuit bite with melted butter.
- Allow to cool in pan for 2 minutes, and then enjoy!
- Variations: Try substituting your favorite shredded cheese, and adding a few tbsps of minced jalapeno pepper for a spicy bite!
