Biscuit Bites

This easy little appetizer is a great one to have when you’re in a hurry.

Ingredients

  1. 1(6 oz) package Shawnee Mills Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  2. 1 cup Hiland Milk
  3. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  4. 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  5. 1 teaspoon chili powder
  6. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  7. 2 tablespoons melted Hiland Butter for tops
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients well. Drop a teaspoon-sized amount of dough into greased mini muffin pan.
  3. Bake 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush tops of each biscuit bite with melted butter.
  4. Allow to cool in pan for 2 minutes, and then enjoy!
  5. Variations: Try substituting your favorite shredded cheese, and adding a few tbsps of minced jalapeno pepper for a spicy bite!
