4 Generations Organic farms organic wheat grown on the land farmed by the same family since the Oklahoma Land Run of 1893. Everything we produce is Estate Grown, in Alva OK. 4 Generations Organic is certified by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. Our organic wheat produces outstanding protein numbers of up to 16%. 4 Generations Organic offers a farm-to-table product to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality of organic wheat. Our wheat is non-GMO, glyphosate-free, and monitored from field to consumer to ensure the highest quality. We work to continuously improve our yield without the use of chemicals.
4 Generations Organic is committed to providing our consumers with quality organic wheat, excellent customer care, and efficient and clean farming practices. We offer wheat berries in various sizes from 5 lb. bags to 2- and 5-gallon storage-ready buckets that are sealed with oxygen absorbers for long- term storage. The newest addition to our inventory is whole wheat flour and ‘00’ flour milled from our Butlers Gold wheat berry. Our products are available online and at our storefront in Alva.

Woody Candy Company is the oldest candy manufacturer in Oklahoma. The candy company was founded in 1927 by Lucille and Claude Woody Sr. in Oklahoma City. Woody Candy Company has been family-owned and operated since its inception, passing from the founding generation to Claude Woody, Jr. in 1983. Claude Jr. ran the company for more than 30 years, and painted the fine portrait of his father that still adorns our Oklahoma City candy shop.
In February 2014, Bill and Elaine Jackson along with son Brian took the reins at Woody Candy Company.
With Claude, Jr. now acting as President Emeritus, the company has welcomed Brian Jackson, as its new leader. A former logistics officer in the U.S. Navy, Brian is the third generation of veterans to head Woody Candy Company.
With the new leadership, the principles that have guided Woody Candy Company since 1927 remain the same. Quality, freshness, and making the best candy possible remain our top priorities.

Van’s Pig Stands has been a Vandegrift family tradition since the 1920s. Leroy Vandegrift got his start in the restaurant business while working in the oilfields in early 1900’s by selling breakfast and lunch to his coworkers in the field. In 1928, Leroy opened his first Van’s Pig Stand in Wewoka, OK. The same year that his brother Briggs opened a Van’s Pig Stand in Wichita Falls, TX. They opened another pair in 1929, in Seminole, OK and Wichita, KS. On June 5, 1930, Leroy opened his third Pig Stand location at 714 Highland in Shawnee, OK, which moved across the street to its present location five years later. Wanting to keep Van’s a family-owned and operated business, Leroy passed the restaurant onto his son, Jerry Vandegrift. The family tradition continues into 2015. Jerry oversees the business, while the day-to-day operations are managed by the third generation which includes Jerry’s son, Jev Vandegrift, and Jerry’s daughter and son-in-law, Mark and Nina Shuman. This long standing family tradition makes Van’s Pig Stands the oldest single family-owned and operated Bar-B-Q restaurant in the State of Oklahoma.
Van’s Pig Stands has been doing Bar-B-Q right since 1930, and has been an Oklahoma tradition for decades. Famous for their hickory-smoked ribs, brisket and Pig Sandwiches, customers across the state and even across the country consider Van’s among the nation’s top barbecue restaurants. There are currently 4 Van’s Pig Stands locations, two in Shawnee, OK, one in Norman, OK and one in Moore, OK.
