1 stick Braum’s Butter
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Suan’s® Jalapeno Pepper Relish
2 Hanson or Equally Yoked Eggs
1 cup Highland Dairy Buttermilk or Sour Cream
½ teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
⅓ to ½ cup Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Shawnee Mills Flour
1 cup Shawnee Mills Cornmeal

Directions:
- Add the first 3 ingredients to the eggs, combine.
- Add baking soda to Buttermilk & grated Cheddar Cheese, mix well.
- Combine salt, flour & cornmeal, mix well, add alternately with buttermilk to butter-egg mixture.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes in muffin tins. In the last 10 minutes of baking sprinkle muffins with fried bacon bits if desired.
- Serve with butter & additional Suan’s® Jalapeno Pepper Relish.
