Chai Latte
It’s easier than you think to make a coffee house-style chai latte at home.

- 6 cups De Vine or Ozarka Water, cold
- 2 teaspoons black peppercorns
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 small star anise
- 6 cardamom pods
- 1–2 piece fresh finger, sliced thinly
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 bags Darjeeling tea
- 2 cups Dairy Pure Whole Milk
- 1/3 cup Cheatwoods Pure Raw Honey
- Place the peppercorns and cloves in a medium saucepan, and crush slightly using a large serving spoon.
- Add the cardamom and anise, crushing again with a spoon.
- Add the water, ginger and cinnamon stick and bring to soft boil.
- Reduce the heat and allow it to simmer gently for 10 tp 15 minutes.
- Add the tea, and allow it to steep for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- At this point the mixture is ready for straining a fine sieve works well.
- Add the milk and honey, and return to the heat until it has returned to a gentle simmer.
- Whisk briskly when pouring, and serve hot.
