Nach-Yo Mamas Beef Jerky is a family-owned business. The owners—Jerry Higginbottom, Danny Higginbottom, Kevin Higginbottom, and Greg Higginbottom—have all lived in Oklahoma their entire lives. Jerry and Greg are military veterans and Danny and Kevin currently work in law enforcement here.
Since 2023 Nach-Yo Mamas Beef Jerky has grown from a small family business to distribution across 500 retail stores all across Oklahoma and Texas.
Nach-Yo Mamas Beef Jerky products can be found in Homeland, Jumbo Foods, Pruett’s, Reasors, Super C, and Williams grocery stores, plus the eExpress travel centers, as well as several others.
The company values family, and nothing says that better than the logo. The three suns were on the boat belonging to Jerry and his wife, Shirley, which they named after their three kids. Each sun was custom-made to fit each of their personalities. In 2014, Shirley became sick and passed. Everyone missed her deeply. So, in 2023, when the family decided to start a beef jerky company and were thinking up a name and logo, it seemed like a perfect fit to call it Nach-Yo Mamas Beef Jerky and use the three suns logo from Jerry and Shirley’s boat.
