Hot Ham and Cheese Sliders

Whether it’s game day or a busy weeknight, nothing saves time (or solves an urgent crunch craving) faster than a basket of hot sliders. And what could be more classic than ham and cheese? We pack soft Big Sky Bread rolls with savory Bar-S ham, melted Swiss, and crispy bacon, brushing the tops with melted Hiland Dairy butter and a zesty garlic-dill aioli. Five minutes in the air fryer turns the outside crisp while keeping the center rich and gooey.

Ingredients

8 slices Big Sky Bread or rolls

16 slices Bar-S deli ham

8 ounces sliced Swiss cheese

4 slices Bar-S Bacon, cooked crisp

2 garlic cloves, crushed

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Pinch of black pepper

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon Scissortail Farms Dill

1 tablespoon Hiland  Salted Butter, melted

  1. Cut each slice of bread in half. Or if using rolls, cut each in half. Evenly divide ham, cheese and bacon to make four sandwiches.
  2. To make aioli, whisk together garlic, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice and dill.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon aioli on the inside top bun or slice of each sandwich. Brush tops of each sandwich with melted butter.
  4. Place sliders in the air fryer basket and cook at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
