  1. 2 cups Shawnee Mills All-Purpose Flour
  2. 2 cups sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 – 12oz can Okola-homa Mr. Twister Soda
  6. 1 cup Braum’s Butter, cubed
  7. 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  8. 2 Equally Yolked eggs, room temperature
  9. 1/2 cup Braum’s Buttermilk
  10. 1 teaspoon Griffin’s Vanilla
  11. Glaze
  12. 1 – 12oz can Okola-homa Mr. Twister Soda
  13. 1/2 cup Braum’s Butter, cubed
  14. 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  15. 4 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine soda, butter and cocoa in a small saucepan, bringing to a boil while stirring. As soon as mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat, and add to flour mixture, stirring to combine.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk and vanilla until blended. Add to flour mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Pour mixture into pan, baking 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. About 15 minutes before cake is done, prepare glaze. To make glaze, bring soda to a boil in a small saucepan, then simmer 10-15 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Stir in butter and cocoa until butter is melted, then remove from heat. Add confectioners’ sugar; stirring until smooth. Pour immediately over hot cake.
