Slow Cooked Sweet & Sticky Pork Ribs
An Original Recipe by Kitchen Kimberley
- 4 to 5 lbs. country style pork ribs
- 2 bottles (18 oz. each) Head Country Hickory Smoke Bar-B-Q Sauce
- ½ C honey
- ¼ C packed brown sugar
- ¼ t ground cinnamon
- 1 t seasoned pepper blend, or ground black pepper
- dash cayenne pepper
Instructions
Place ribs in crock-pot. Pour 1 bottle barbeque sauce over ribs. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. When meat is tender, turn off crock-pot, and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make the sauce by combining one cup of Head Country BBQ sauce, and all remaining ingredients in a bowl; stir to combine well. Remove ribs from crock-pot and place in sauce to coat evenly. Transfer coated ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes. Meanwhile, transfer remaining sauce to a small saucepan, and warm over low heat to serve with meat. Enjoy!
Tip: This is great as a main dish, or as a sandwich. Simply shred the meat, and mix it with the sauce; place it on a bun, and enjoy!
