Bacon Cheese and Chive Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shawnee Mills Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese , grated
  • 1 cup Bar-S Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 T fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 T granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Hiland Butter
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 375°F

Place muffin liners in each muffin cup. To make your own, cut 6×6 squares of parchment paper.

Mix all ingredients gently in a large bowl until just blended together, be careful to not over mix the muffins or they will become chewy.

Spoon into prepared muffin tray.

Bake for about 15 mins or golden brown.
