Baked Beans with Syrup and Bacon

1 large can pork and beans
6 slices Bar-S Bacon
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1 cup Griffin’s Waffle Syrup


Dice bacon. In medium sauce pan, cook bacon over medium-high heat until nearly crisp. Drain off half of the bacon drippings. Add onions and peppers, cook until translucent. Reduce heat to medium and add beans and waffle syrup. Simmer 30 minutes. Enjoy!
