Mixed Greens with Apple Cider Vinaigrette topped with BBQ Hot Link Smokies
An original recipe of Chef Kurt Fleischfresser
- 2 tbsp. Garden Club Apple Jelly
- 2 tbsp. Garden Club Mustard
- ¼ cup of Garden Club Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 cup of Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 3 cups of mixed greens
- 1 package of hot link smokies marinated in Head Country Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
Combine apple jelly, mustard, vinegar, olive oil and salt and pepper with a whisk in a large bowl. Add mixed greens to large bowl and toss until lettuce is covered with vinaigrette.
In a medium skillet place hot links on skewers and heat on med-high for 3-5 minutes on each side.
Remove hot link smokies and place on top of the salad.
Chef Kurt tips: Garnish mixed greens with black olives and green and red pepper to add flavor and color.
