MIO Welcomes Five New Members

 The Made in Oklahoma Coalition welcomes five new members

Members include BBQ and French restaurants, tortilla factory and restaurant group

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Made in Oklahoma (MIO) Coalition announced today the addition of five Oklahoma companies to their growing group of Oklahoma-based food companies. The new members include A Good Egg Dining Group, La Baguette, Inc., Elmer’s BBQ, Serapio’s Tortilla Factory and Billy Sims BBQ.

“We are excited to continue the growth of our coalition with these highly successful Oklahoma-based companies,” said Richard Wasson, executive director of the Made in Oklahoma Coalition. “These members add an additional perspective and experience to our group and can help us encourage new audiences not only to buy local products, but to also eat at local restaurants.”

A Good Egg Dining Group (AGE) was founded by Keith Paul, Heather Paul and Sean Ray in 2006. AGE owns and operates Oklahoma favorites Cheever’s Café, Cheever’s Catering, Iron Starr Urban Barbeque, Red PrimeSteak, Market-C and POPS. La Baguette is a French bakery and café established in Norman, Okla. in July of 1984 by the Jazzar and Khouri families. In addition to operating restaurants in Norman and Oklahoma City, the company also supplies breads, pastries and desserts to over 200 hotels and restaurants. Elmer's BBQ is a 22 year old Tulsa restaurant established in 1983 by Elmer and Georgella Thompson.
