Granola Bars

An Adapted Recipe by Kitchen Kimberley
  • 2 c. quick (1-minute) oats
  • 2 c. crisp rice cereal
  • ½ c. Griffin’s coconut
  • ½ c. Reese’s baking pieces
  • ¼ c. raisins
  • ¼ c. mini chocolate chips
  • 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. Griffin’s light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. Oklahoma honey
  • 2/3 c. Garden Club chunky peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. Braum’s Sweet Cream Salted Butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.  In a large mixing bowl, combine oats with crisp rice cereal, coconut, baking pieces, raisins and chocolate chips; set aside. 

Next, in a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and honey over medium heat; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then remove from heat.  Quickly stir in peanut butter, butter, vanilla and cinnamon; pour over oat mixture in bowl, stirring very well to coat evenly. 

Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.  Chill until set, then cut into serving sized bars.
