Granola Bars
An Adapted Recipe by Kitchen Kimberley
- 2 c. quick (1-minute) oats
- 2 c. crisp rice cereal
- ½ c. Griffin’s coconut
- ½ c. Reese’s baking pieces
- ¼ c. raisins
- ¼ c. mini chocolate chips
- 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. Griffin’s light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. Oklahoma honey
- 2/3 c. Garden Club chunky peanut butter
- 1 tbsp. Braum’s Sweet Cream Salted Butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
Instructions
Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats with crisp rice cereal, coconut, baking pieces, raisins and chocolate chips; set aside.
Next, in a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and honey over medium heat; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then remove from heat. Quickly stir in peanut butter, butter, vanilla and cinnamon; pour over oat mixture in bowl, stirring very well to coat evenly.
Press mixture firmly into prepared pan. Chill until set, then cut into serving sized bars.
