Biscuit Bites
An Original Recipe by Kitchen Kimberley
These bite-sized treats are perfect for holiday parties!
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Shawnee Mills Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
- ¾ C milk
- ¼ t baking powder
- ½ C sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 t mild chili powder
- ½ t garlic salt
- 2 T melted Hiland butter for tops
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients well. Drop a teaspoon-sized amount of dough into greased mini muffin pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven, and brush tops of each biscuit bite with melted Hiland butter. Allow to cool in pan for 2 minutes, and then enjoy!
Variations: Try substituting your favorite shredded cheese, and adding a few tablespoons of minced jalapeno pepper for a spicy bite!
